Lia earned her degree in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University. Lia has taken many advanced training courses, enhancing her hands-on, and exercise based approach to treatment. Many of her clients make use of her certification in the use of acupuncture to treat muscle and joint related pain. Each client brings a new challenge – whether they were hurt while playing sports, while working, or while playing with their grandchild. There are also those who were injured in a car accident, recovering from surgery, or are dealing with a condition such as rheumatoid or osteoarthritis. Lia also works with health care providers in the prevention and rehabilitation of back & neck injuries. Lia establishes a customized exercise program and provides education in proper lifting techniques and patient transferring skills. Lia has had great success with this approach.
